Rosh Hashanah at Home: traditions and prayers of celebration
Wednesday, 2 September, 2020 • 13 Elul 5780
8:30 PM - 9:30 PMZoomWith Rabbis Oliver Joseph and Jonathan Wittenberg
In this unusual year, we discuss ideas of how to make this year’s home celebrations for Rosh Hashanah special. We will learn ways to decorate our table, recipe ideas and traditions of symbolic foods to welcome the New Year.
With synagogue services shorter and more limited than usual, we will study practices and prayers we can share with family at home to make this New Year spiritually fulfilling and worthwhile.
