Teen Beit Midrash with Year 11 & 12

Many Jewish thinkers have written about Moshiach (the Messiah), a mythical future leader who will, according to tradition, usher in a new age for the Jewish people. What can texts about Moshiach teach us about optimism and despair? Do we really need a King of the Jews? And what's up with the Donkey?

Rabbi Lara is delighted to invite Year 11-12 students for ice cream and learning in their home. Take a much-needed Shabbat break from revision and join us for a bit of Torah learning!

The event starts at 4:00pm and ends at 6:00pm. The location will be shared by email upon registration.

A Shabbat afternoon study event for Year 11 & 12 led by the amazing Rabbi Lara. We will look at what the Talmud has to say about a pressing modern issue, look at modern sources, debate, and eat snacks.
