All too often hidden from public view, a new form of inter-State conflict - war indeed - is developing at a remarkable pace. Yet this war does not involve bullets and bombs, or aircraft, tanks or submarines, but rather is taking place in cyberspace. Iran’s nuclear facilities, Saudi Arabia’s oil facilities, the US national power grid, stock exchanges, and state and commercial assets across the globe - including in the UK - have already been ‘attacked’.
