A short service to mark Holocaust Memorial Day

27 January 2021 at 7.00pm

(The date commemorates the first units of the Red Army reaching Auschwitz-Birkenau on 27 January 1945)

The theme of this year’s HMD is: Be the Light in the Darkness

Our commemoration this year will include

• reflections from Rabbi Jonathan Wittenberg and student rabbi Anthony Lazarus;
• commentary on two works of art, a collage by Eva Davis, and a tapestry composed by Sharon Voss;
• a passage of testimony;
• the traditional El Malei Rachamim memorial prayer and the Kaddish.

The service will last approximately 40 minutes
