With Andrew Levy
The Song of Songs is the great, mysterious, Biblical love poem, adored for its sensuous language. It made its way into the Biblical canon because the Rabbis (and then the Church) allegorised it to mean something entirely different. But what lies beyond the allegorical and the sensuous meanings? In this series, we will seek to penetrate to the very heart of the mystery.
