Talmud study with Rabbi Jonathan Wittenberg 

We chat our way through Talmud page by page and argument by argument, sometimes meeting challenging issues head-on, sometimes cheerfully side-tracked, but never missing anything out because it’s too obscure, too earthly or too heavenly. We work with the original text, but everything is translated as we go.

We’ve been running for forty years, gladly welcoming new people along the way. We are currently 85% of the way through tractate Kiddushin, which we hope to complete around Chanukkah. You are welcome to join any time, but January may be especially opportune, when we make a new start with tractate Berachot on daily prayer.

This class meets on Thursday mornings 9.30 – 10.30am, online and in person at Rabbi Jonathan’s home.
