A quiet and reflective memorial service, including the opportunity to say Kaddish.

7.30-8.15pm: Pre-Shavuot Service on Zoom
A pre-Yom Tov overture to Hallel, a reading and short discussion of the Ten Commandments and a glimpse in pictures of the agricultural side of the festival.

Rabbi Shoshana Boyd-Gelfand and Rabbi Jonathan Wittenberg in conversation - maybe with special guests too – on ‘What the First Commandment Means to Me’.
 

10.30pm: Session 2

Desert and Revelation: what’s the connection? With Rabbi Zahavit Shalev and Rabbi Oliver Joseph - “Once a person renders herself ownerless like a wilderness, the Torah is given to her like a gift”. Come and help us unpack this fascinating teaching.

‘Awake the dawn’ in Rabbi Wittenberg's garden. Must be booked in advance here, by Thursday 13th May at 5.00pm.

As Covid rules mean that we cannot invite anyone inside, please assume that this is cancelled should it be raining.


Tuesday 18th May

5.00pm: Minchah and reading of The Book of Ruth
Please join Rabbi Wittenberg in the garden at 5.00pm on  the 2nd day of Shavuot for Minchah and a reading of the Book of Ruth. Places are limited and must be booked here, by Thursday 13th May at 5.00pm.
